Antique Shell Cameo Brooch 14k Gold

Antique Victorian brooch with a carved shell cameo depicting a portrait of a lady, wearing a floral crown and a pearl necklace, in a frame of 14k gold. This carving has absolutely beautiful detail, especially in the curls of her hair and the flowers adorning her head and shoulders. We are in awe of the skill and time it must have taken to painstakingly carve these details out by hand! Wear on your lapel, a hat, on a chain as a pendant, or on a scarf-- there are so many styling possibilities for this fabulous brooch.

Unmarked, tested 14k. In good antique condition.
